How long is the healing process after adjusting my hairline?

The most critical time is the first 2-3 days when the area is at its most sensitive. The first week you should be extra careful.

After 2 weeks it is okay to start exercising but you should still be a little careful with the sun and vigilant so that the transplanted hair is not scratched.

After 3 weeks, you can generally do most everyday things, but avoid things like head butting a football or wearing tight headgear. If you have any questions about your aftercare, please feel free to contact us.

Can I wear a hat or cap after the transplant?

It is not recommended to wear a hat or cap until a week after the operation as there is a risk of scraping the hair follicles.

After a week, you can wear a hat or cap if it is not too tight. Remember that the cap or hat must not lie exactly on the transplanted area for at least two weeks. Read more about aftercare.

Why should I take antibiotics after my transplant?

You will be given a low dose of antibiotics for the first 3 days after your hair transplant to reduce the risk of infection.

This is not a normal course of antibiotics and the dose is very low. A total of 4 pills are taken.

The aftercare of your transplanted area is as important for your final result as the actual performance of the hair transplant. Therefore, it is important that you follow the instructions given to you at your consultationafter your hair transplant.
