What is a vampire treatment?

Vampire therapy is actually another word for PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma). In other words, it is the same as a PRP treatment. So why are there two names for the same treatment?

The word vampire therapy is a term coined by the media, probably because it is easier to connect than Platelet Rich Plasma. As the treatment uses the customer’s own blood, it is no wonder that the name has arisen.

Vampire treatment for hair

How does a vampire hair treatment work?

A vampire treatment starts with us drawing blood from the fold of your arm. This is then centrifuged for 10 minutes so that we can extract the growth factors.

These are then injected superficially into the scalp. to stimulate your hair growth. When the growth factors are injected into the scalp, the hair follicle becomes stronger and begins to produce a stronger, thicker strand of hair.

We recommend a course of 3 PRP treatments at 4-6 week intervals for best results.
