Lisa, 46 years old
Basal cell carcinoma is a type of skin cancer that affected Lisa. She lost a lot of hair as a result of the cancer and developed a bald spot after the operation. With PRP treatments, she was able to regain hair growth at the bald spot.
Lisa was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, also known as basal cell carcinoma. It is a type of skin cancer that usually occurs after a lot of sun exposure. Lisa developed a tumour that grew until she had it removed. As a result of the skin cancer, she lost a lot of hair and developed a large bald patch on her head. She found it hard that no hair was growing there.
After a conversation with a friend, she heard about PRP treatment. Her friend did the treatment for aesthetic reasons to maintain the lustre of her hair and to prevent hair loss. As a woman, you may lose hair as you get older or have children. Her friend recommended Lisa try PRP treatment to see if it could help with her bald spot.
PRP stimulates hair growth naturally without the need for surgery. You can read more about PRP treatment here.
Lisa came to us at Nordic Hair Clinic for PRP treatments to regain her hair. She is a bit afraid of needles and therefore felt anxious before the treatment, but during the treatment she felt that it was not as bad as she thought it would be.
– You feel a little tingling on your scalp, but you can take it. You have to think about other things and you’ll be fine,” says Lisa.
Lisa’s advice to others who are thinking of doing PRP is to go and do it. Now after her three PRP treatments, she is incredibly happy with the results.
– It’s fantastic, it really stimulates hair growth. It becomes thicker and you can fill in thin temples or get a stronger hair growth. For me, PRP was so beneficial that almost all the hair grew out at my bald spot. It is only where I have the scar that some hair is missing.
