Tobacco is bad for the healing of the body and it significantly affects the outcome of the hair transplant. Therefore, it is important that you start to cut down on smoking and snus a week before and do not smoke or sniff at all 48 hours before your operation.
Caffeine acts as a blood thinner in the same way as snus does. Therefore, coffee should not be consumed up to 48 hours before the operation.
Do not take blood thinners, such as Ipren, Omega 3 or Aspirin before the hair transplant. It will make you bleed a lot more than usual.
Don’t shave before you come to us. We like to be able to see how your hair grows naturally, if you have any swirles and so on, so that we can create the most natural result possible for you and your hair.
Please bring a blouse or shirt that can be buttoned at the front so that you don’t have to pull anything over your head after your hair transplant.
Eat a good meal before your hair transplant to keep your energy up during the procedure.
It takes time to do a hair transplant. Don’t book anything else during the day. It may also be nice for you to have the first few days off after your hair transplant.
Please bring valid identification when you come for your procedure.
We advise our patients not to go to a municipal home immediately after their hair transplant. The risk of infection increases and, above all, it is more convenient for you to travel in your own car or taxi.
