The difference between the techniques
DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) and FUE (Follicular Unit Excision) are two methods of hair transplantation that differ in the way hair follicles are implanted. In FUE, the hair follicles are extracted and placed in pre-made incisions in the recipient area. With DHI, an implantation pen is used that allows the hair follicles to be directly positioned without first creating incisions.
DHI offers high precision and makes recovery faster. The disadvantage is that it takes longer to carry out the treatment and therefore costs more. FUE is more effective for larger areas and has a lower cost, but entails a little longer recovery.
