After a long career as a marketing manager and strategist, Susanne went through an extremely tough period both personally and professionally, with two parents who were seriously ill and a stressful work situation. In the midst of all this, she began to notice something worrying – she was losing large amounts of hair, and within a few months up to 70 percent of her hair had disappeared.
A new hope – and a quick start
At first, she tried to manage it herself. She brushed out large clumps of hair every day, the vacuum cleaner filled up quickly, and hair was everywhere – in the bed, on the floor, in the shower. She had previously tried everything from supplements to alternative treatments – even an Ayurvedic trip to India where leeches were applied to the scalp to increase circulation. Nothing had helped.
She started wearing a hat at work to hide her hair loss, until one day it became impossible to keep it a secret any longer. When she told her colleagues, one of them mentioned PRP, but Susanne was skeptical.
– “That’s just a hoax and a waste of money,” I thought. But my colleague insisted, and since it came from someone I really like and trust, I decided to find out more. Then I found Nordic Hair clinic. I called and managed to get an appointment that same week.
The decision to dare to believe
Before the treatment, Susanne felt emotional and still a little skeptical.
– “It hurt more than I thought, but I had already made up my mind. I wanted to believe in this now. I thought I had nothing to lose – the worst that could happen is that it doesn’t work, and then I’d just lost money. But I had already lost so much more.”
Fast results – and the joy that followed
After just a few weeks, she started to notice a change. Her hair loss slowed down, and soon she could feel small stubble growing out of her scalp.
– It has gone very quickly, you had said that you have never had anyone gain so much hair in such a short time with PRP.
“Feel, feel – the hair is back!!”
From hiding under hats and caps, she now walks with her head held high. Life hasn’t gotten easier, but it feels easier. For her, the hair journey wasn’t just an external change – it was also an internal journey back to self-esteem.
-“I was so happy I almost died. Everyone I know has been patting me on the head – I just say ‘Feel it! Feel it! My hair is back!'”
Susanne’s words to other women with hair loss
Susanne wants to share her journey – not because everything was perfect, but because it actually got better. She knows how lonely and hopeless it can feel when your hair is falling out in large amounts and you don’t recognize yourself in the mirror. That’s why she wants to inspire others not to give up, but to dare to take the first step.
– “If anyone reads my story who might be hesitant about maybe being too old or not believing it. You don’t have to put up with losing your hair. If you have the opportunity, there’s no reason not to give it a chance.”
