Marc, 33, has a rare skin disease of the scalp that has left him with a large bald patch with wart-like pimples. The disease is called Folliculitis decalvans, or Alopecia decalvans, and is a chronic skin disease of the scalp in which the hair follicles become inflamed. Marc’s hair has been slowly falling out over time and because the hair follicles have been destroyed, unfortunately the hair cannot grow back.
Treatment with PRP has helped Marc and his inflammation has improved. Today he doesn’t have as many raised pimples as before.
