Consultation may feel like an unnecessary step. Just talk, no treatment. Something that takes time. But we are confident that the consultation is significant for both you and us. We only want to treat clients that we think can get a good outcome, and we don't want to take any medical risks. Therefore, we need to find out a bit about our patients before we do a treatment. This applies to both PRP and Hair Transplant.
A consultation does not have to lead to treatment. But our goal is for the client to leave the consultation a little wiser and more knowledgeable. During the consultation, it is important to discuss your expectations. If the expectations are wrong, then the result will be wrong. During the consultation, of course, we also discuss the number of treatments, expected results and price.

When you arrive at the clinic, you will be asked to fill out a health declaration, which we will then review. There, for example, you are allowed to fill in if you are taking any special medicine or have recently taken medicine that can affect the healing process.

You as a customer get to tell us about your problem and your hopes for a possible treatment. Do you want to lower the hairline, fill in high folds or improve the density of your entire hair? We review what the last year has looked like and if anything special has happened that could have caused the hair loss.

In some cases, we examine the scalp with a microcamera to determine the status of the hair follicles. We can see approximately how many hairs grow in each hair follicle group and whether there is life in the majority of hair follicles. If there is life in the hair follicles, there is a greater chance that a PRP treatment will produce good results.

We go through your requests and examine the donor area. How the sensor area looks is important to be able to know what is possible to perform. Scars, warts and other skin changes we need to check before a hair transplant and if you have eczema or psoriasis.We also go over what type of hairline would work best based on how your muscle attachment is. If you want to familiarize yourself with what your new hairline might look like, we can draw it up and you can see yourself in the mirror.

Hair loss is very individual. What the cause is and how far in the hair loss process you have come is decisive for what result you can achieve.In our video booking form, it is possible to attach several pictures and get a preliminary assessment, but in order to be able to give a detailed recommendation, a meeting is required.Sometimes we consider that the client's expectations are not achievable and then we say no. All of these factors combined are the reason why we have free consultations.
In order to help you in the best possible way, please read the information below and prepare for your visit.
Please wash your hair before. The cleaner the hair, the clearer the picture we get of the well-being of the hair follicles.
Please come a few minutes before your appointed time as we have many scheduled consultations in succession, close to each other.
Avoid hair products (wax, hairspray, etc.). These stand in the way of clear images with the micro camera.
Having short hair is okay but a snagged haircut makes it difficult to examine your hair follicles. For best results, we ask that you have a length of at least 5mm.
A video consultation is suitable for those who live far away and who are considering a hair transplant. In a video consultation, you submit photos of your hair via our form. After that, one of our hair specialists will get back to you with an initial assessment by phone or email. It can be an advantage to get an initial assessment online before coming for a physical consultation. Then you will know whether you can carry out a transplant at all or not.
However, a picture or video cannot replace an on-site examination at our clinic. For this reason, we encourage you to come to our clinic for a physical consultation after a video consultation — all to ensure that you feel safe before having a procedure.
With a physical consultation, you will come to one of our clinics where you will see one of our hair specialists. The hair specialist will conduct a thorough examination of your hair and tell you about your prerequisites. Then we can tell you more about your hair quality and how many grafts you can extract from your donor area as well as how many grafts fit in the area you want to cover. We will also discuss your requirements and wishes. Next, the hair specialist will come up with a suggestion for the treatment that suits you best.
We are always honest. It's important to say. You might even be told we can't help you. At least not right now.
That you must first go to the hospital and have blood tests to check your iron value, and that we can then take care of your hair loss. We will honestly tell you what we can help with. Often we present different options. Then it's up to you. After the consultation, go home and think. If you have follow-up questions, please call or email us again.
We send many people to the health center to have a thyroid test or to check iron levels. Others, we recommend going to a CBT psychologist to practice stress management. Sometimes we work on hair treatments in parallel, but sometimes a PRP treatment or hair transplant has to wait until more pressing problems have been dealt with.
We would never do a treatment that we don't think can lead to a better outcome.
