Benjamin talks about his hair transplant

Benjamin Jennebo is the founder, guitarist and songwriter of the band Smash Into Pieces. After years of touring, he began to notice that his folds began to pull upward and his hair quality deteriorated. He therefore decided to do a hair transplant with us at Nordic Hair Clinic to fill out his hairline. Here he tells us more about his journey, why he chose us and how he sees the future after his hair transplant.

At our clinic, we focus on providing each client with a personalized treatment based on their needs and wishes. During Benjamin's consultation, we discussed his goals and expectations. As part of the process, we even drew up a preview of the hairline to visualize the result and ensure that to create a natural and sustainable result.

A permanent solution with hair transplantation

Benjamin said that he noticed one hair loss and thin hair for a long time and tried to hide it on his own but that in the end he wanted to make a permanent solution.- Since we tour endlessly for years, the stress and the life we live has affected my hair quality. I have noticed that I try to cover my folds with a cap etc, and asked hairdressers not to remove too much hair just in the folds. Instead of covering up, now I want to do something about it.

“I wanted to give myself a present and direct this up”

Hair is an important part of life as an artist

Since Benjamin is often on stage and has thousands of eyes on him, he becomes more attentive to his hair.- I have a very public profession, you stand on stage and show off with a lot of cameras on your face. Everyone has said that I have good hair, but that's because I've managed to hide the folds. So I want to stop faking it, and do something about it instead! Although Benjamin has not felt bad about thinning his hair, he wants to be proactive and prevent further hair loss.- I have not been so personally affected by having folds. It's more that I feel like after thousands of stressful gigs I want to save whatever hair I can before the folds take over too much.

The Importance of Choosing a Good Clinic

When Benjamin decided to do a hair transplant, the choice of clinic was an important issue. When he heard about Nordic Hair Clinic through a friend, it felt like an obvious option.- It's actually the band's singer who tipped off about Nordic Hair Clinic. From what I had heard and seen, you are very good, it is noticeable on all the reviews and the results of previous customers. So, of course, I wanted to be a customer. For me, it's a very important and big decision, so I want to do this in someone where I feel confident and where I feel I will be happy with the outcome.

Benjamin doesn't think one should be ashamed of a hair transplant

For Benjamin, it has felt natural to want to correct his hairline and has several people in his environment who also made a Hair Transplant.- I have had several friends do this, and nothing has ever been judged. It's positive that people do what they want to do, and can stand for what you want to do and be proud of it. I can admit that I am a bit vain and want to correct my hairline. There is a solution, it remains only to thank and receive.

“Let go of the shame, it's just stupid!”

Before the procedure, Benjamin is looking forward to the results and thinks it feels great to have the opportunity to fill out his hairline.- It feels very cool and fun to do this procedure, but of course it's also scary and a little exciting because it's something you've never done before. But I am very expectant of the result. In total, 1,500 grafts were moved to fill out Benjamin's bays and make it look natural. He kept his spirits up throughout the process and felt right afterwards that he had made absolutely the right choice.
